Network Away Day

Come to the Wellbeing Wales Network Away Day at the Glamorgan Cricket Ground on the 28 January 2010. As we start 2010, let’s celebrate our efforts to improve wellbeing in Wales.

Professor Mansel Aylward CB, Director of the Centre for Psychosocial and Disability Research at Cardiff University and the first-ever Chair of Public Health Wales, will be kick starting the day. But there will also be plenty of opportunities for Network members to share what they’ve doing to improve wellbeing in Wales.

An Outcome by Design

The Welsh Local Government Association has recently released its guidance "Better Health through Regeneration: An Outcome by Design." According to the WLGA, the information paper has been compiled for all those who have a responsibility and interest in health and wellbeing. The paper outlines the policy areas for both health improvement and regeneration agendas and the connections between them.
