WRVS Wins Grant
The Wellbeing Wales Network would like to congratulate the WRVS on securing £497,000 from the BIG Lottery to investigate the best ways to encourage older people to improve their health and well-being. The Wellbeing Wales Network supported the WRVS’s bid and is looking forward to hearing and sharing the lessons learned from this exciting new project.

OECD E-learning course on Statistics, Knowledge and Policy
The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, in conjunction with the United Nation Institute for Training and Research have developed a 5 week E-learning course on "Statistics, Knowledge and Policy: Understanding Societal Change", from March 1 to April 2, 2010.
The e-course has been designed to provide assistance to those wanting to understand the progress of their societies and promote evidence-based debate and policy making. It is ideal for statisticians, economists, policy makers, NGO staff and journalists, as well as those from the private and civil society sectors.
