Wellbeing Wales Network E-Bulletin February 2010
Editor’s Choice
Since the volume of Wellbeing related news is growing at such a terrific rate, there have been calls by members for the Network to provide a regular snapshot of recent news events to make it more digestible. This new service aims to meet that need and will be posted on the website each month in an effort to keep readers up to date and informed of what’s going on.
So keep a look out for those updates, but in the meantime, take a look at the first edition by visiting the Editor's Choice page.

The State of Happiness by the Young Foundation
A number of additions have been made to the Resources section of this website, including The State of Happiness report by the Young Foundation.
This paper focuses on the Local Wellbeing Project – a three-year initiative to explore how local government can practically improve the happiness and wellbeing of its citizens. Throughout the document the authors attempt to take a broader look at how a wellbeing focus can be integrated into public policy more systematically. The authors attempt to illustrate where the potential exists for public policy to influence wellbeing and they address the common arguments against taking wellbeing seriously.
