Timebanking

Timebanking is where everyones contribution is valued equally. This is based on the principles that everyone has something worthwhile to contribute and for each hour a person contributes they earn an hours credit. This credit can then be used to access services and support offered by other time bank participants, which then becomes a basis for exchange of goods or services. Time banks build up a sense of community by using time as a medium of exchange.
